Moving to a brand new place where you have no connections is always the perfect opportunity to reinvent yourself, turn over a new leaf, discover your most authentic self, or whatever other cliche you want to use for trying new things (or rekindling old hobbies). I find that when we have no time for additional stuff we want to try, we have this fantasy list of all the things we would do if we had more time. I share my own in this post!
What I’ve Learned About New Haven So Far
We’ve officially been here just shy of a month (wow…already?!), and we’re starting to get a feel for what life is really like up here. I figured I would give you the full report on what we’ve discovered, and what our first impressions are!
Connecticut Bound
It’s official, we’re moving to Connecticut at the end of the month. I know there is a purpose for me there, so I’m optimistic despite the fact that this week’s forecast called for THUNDER SNOW in the Nutmeg State. Overall though, the moving plans are going smoothly, and I’ve even had some time to start scoping out fun stuff to do in New Haven.
